The Human Nose - Makings Sense of Scents

The human nose and sense of smell are complex structures and functions. Is the human nose the result of evolutionary processes or the result of intelligent design?

Biology - Amphibia, An Introduction

As the name (from Greek, amphibios, meaning 'having a double life') implies, the amphibia are adapted to move, feed and breathe equally well on land or in fresh water though, in most cases, they breed only in water. All amphibia are vertebrates, that is, they have a vertebral column and a skull; they also have four limbs. They are commonly referred to as 'cold-blooded' but this means that their temperature varies with that of the air or water. A frog in warm water would have correspondingly warm blood.

Blood Clotting - The Rescue Squad

The blood clotting process is incredibly complex. Is the process of blood clotting the result of evolutionary processes or the result of intelligent design? This article seeks to help open your mind.

Optic Microscope - Gaining A Basic Understanding

Getting a better understanding of the Optic Microscope can help with your research. Whether you are considering a purchase or just trying to get an education, the following information on the Optic Microscope may be found helpful.

Antimatter Is Etheric Double Of Physical Matter

Everything in physical reality exist in two states, the physical state and the etheric state. Physical matter and its etheric double coexist in the same spacetime but out of phase with each other on two different planes of reality. Antimatter is the etheric double of physical matter.

Slate Information

Slate is formed through metamorphism, a process in which the tiny elements that make up a rock are pushed closer together to form a crystalline structure, also known as recrystallization of the stone.

The Brain - Something to Think About

The human brain is more complex than any computer mankind has ever developed. Is the human brain a result of evolutionary processes or the result of intelligent design?

Dolphins and Sea Lions Against Terrorism

Did you know that dolphins and sea lions have been used by the U.S. Navy since the late 1950's? In fact, nowadays, these marine mammals are use to fight terrorism? Let's find out all about it in this article!

The Ongoing Holocene Extinction

Scientists have concrete evidence that the Earth is currently undergoing the largest mass extinction in 65 million years. Over 50 species are going extinct every single day.

What is Fluorescent Lighting?

Explains the technology behind fluorescent lights that are used for office, school and home lighting.

Nor'easters, What Are They?

The Nor'easter of April 2007 will probably come to be known as the Friday the 13th Nor'easter. But what is a Nor'easter and why are they so destructive?

Brain Technologies - Part 1- Knowing your Genetic Fate

Stress in society today is accelerating. New technologies are adding to that stress, even though many are designed to help improve our lives. Genotyping is one such technology that with the promise of a better future will require some thoughtful debate before going to the masses.

Determination of Total Cyanide Without Distillation

Determination of total cyanide by normal EPA methodology requires either manual or on-line distillation from a sample acidified with a strong acid. Serious problems have been recognized with these traditional methods. This article presents interferences associated with EPA approved methods and describes a non-distillation method based on segmented flow on-line UV digestion-gas diffusion with amperometric detection. This technique eliminates the need for time-consuming distillations, has a throughput of up to 30 samples per hour, and is virtually interference free.
