Too many times I have seen people's live ruined because they have been too fearful to stand up to a dominant figure or a difficult situation in their life. They live an existence of sadness, frustration and compromise because they want to 'keep the peace' and not 'rock the boat.'

The Hierarchy Of Needs Part 2
There are five basic needs that have to be taken care of in life. These basic needs have to be
taken care of in order for anyone to get to a point where they are able to truly express themselves in life and feel a sense of accomplishment and fulfillment. The four lower level needs are basic daily survival. Not taking care of these needs will force us to put more energy and time into them than is necessary. Though the needs are broken down as separate entities, they are interconnected. Each higher need is connected to the needs below it, and not properly taking care of a lower need will cause a need to back track. The five needs are physiological, safety, love/belonging, esteem, and self-actualization.

I have heard two sides of the same story time after time about the word balance. It's time I lay this whole thing to rest and explain what true balance is and how an understanding of it can help you to create the life of your dreams. Balance, based on Webster's dictionary means - 1. state of rest due to equal leverage around a point or line. 2. state of harmony, stability, etc. 3. put in balance. You get the idea. Balance is basically a point of non-movement. A position that is completely in harmony with every other position around it.

There Is Power In Disaster
Many people are paralyzed by the fear of failure. Many people never take steps toward their dreams because of a fear, often times a figment of our minds, of not being able to make it or of failing while on the path. We need to banish these thoughts from our minds and move forward regardless of how big the chances of failure may or may not be. Remember that fear is nothing more than an indicator of where our mind is directed and our thoughts are focused. For some reason as adults we have picked up the concept that failure is a horrible thing, so many people settle for much less than they are completely capable of. This will never lead to a life of freedom and abundance.
