After researching numerous books and attending seminars on effective relationships I have found that the following behaviors are pretty consistent in relationships that last and are filled with love, happiness and friendship. Yhey are and in no particular order of importance.

I consider myself to be extremely lucky for having apart from two caring and loving parents, also a brother-who entered my life three and a half years after I was born-to turn to whether I am happy or in distress.

One of the main reasons that both men and women want to get into a relationship is a fear of being alone. Yet, any relationship that is based on fear is destined to be a very unhappy and unfulfilling relationship. Until you can learn to enjoy your own company you will constantly find yourself getting into relationships that are or end up based on fear.

In a newspaper last November 25, there was article about observing an International day for elimination of violence against women. It is heart-warming that finally the international world is starting to recognize that violence against women is a growing issue and they need to find a solution to it but after pondering this issue for quite some time I came to the following conclusions:
